Founder & Care Navigator
Many families reach a point where they realise a loved one needs more support. At that moment they are faced with unfamiliar systems, difficult decisions and a long list of practical tasks.
Shanny’s Care Navigation was created to provide calm guidance and practical support during these important life transitions.
With experience supporting vulnerable individuals and families navigating complex care systems, Shanny understands how confusing and stressful these situations can feel.
Through her work supporting people to access services and coordinate care, she has seen firsthand how much difference it makes when families have someone who understands the system and can guide them through the next steps.
Shanny supports families navigating services such as My Aged Care and the National Disability Insurance Scheme while also helping with practical realities such as downsizing, coordinating services, preparing homes for sale and organising support for ageing parents.
Her approach is simple:

The goal of Shanny’s Care Navigation is to make life’s complex transitions feel more manageable and supported.
I support older Australians and their families through complex and often emotional transitions when health, independence, and support systems begin to change.
My work is deeply personal. I have supported an ageing parent while raising children, and I understand firsthand the pressure, responsibility, and emotional weight that can come with managing care, appointments, and important decisions.
I also understand how overwhelming the aged care system can feel and how important it is to have someone you trust to guide you through it.
With qualifications and training in community services and mental health, I offer more than advice. I provide practical, hands on support that makes a meaningful difference.
I am known for building strong relationships, communicating with empathy, and creating clarity in situations that often feel uncertain. I think outside the box, find solutions, and ensure every detail is taken care of.
